Level 2 Powerboat Course

 

 

The aim of this two day course is to provide a complete introduction to boat handling and the associated background theory to assure your safety afloat.

It provides the skills and knowledge necessary to safely take a powerboat to sea in daylight with reasonable weather and tidal conditions.

The course forms the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.

Suggested pre-course minimum experience None required. May be preceeded by Level 1 certificate.  Minimum age 12 yrs. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate.

Ability After Course Self-sufficient powerboat in the right conditions: aware of own limitations and those of craft.
